I am with you: Chinese and Mexican! But right now my whole family is into Vietnamese. There is a restaurant nearby and we have been eating there a lot. Thank goodness it is not expensive at all. My favorite Chinese dish is orange chicken, and my Mexican favorite is enchiladas. Happy eating!!

My city (Vancouver) HAD to be the first truly "cosmopolitan" city on Earth. I was born there, (Thank God!) and since have traveled through 30 countries including India, France, Italy, Iran, Lebanon, Greece, Turkey, Pakistan, Nepal, Mexico, United States, Holland, Lebanon, Britain, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Bosnia, Croatia and Denmark, and now I live in Mexico!
My FAVORITE ethnic cuisine would have to be:
1. Indian - (Punjabi)
2. Mexican - (Yucatan)
3. Italian - (Northern)
4. Chinese - (Szechwan)
5. Southern US (barbecue)

To paraphrase Roy Rogers, "I never met a cuisine I didn't like." Except maybe Filipino, but that was just at one restaurant, and it might not have been authentic preparation. I'll try it again, just not at that restaurant.
My thought on the matter is that if millions of people are eating it, it's probably good.
What I crave:
Ethiopian - this highly seasoned cuisine is not available to me locally, and I crave the Ethiopian beef tartar-like dish called kitfo.
Vietnamese - fortunately, this cuisine is abundantly available to me, and I eat it several times a month. The food is light and healthy, and full of fresh herbal flavors - mint, basil, culantro.
Now I'm hungry again!

My own, I love (Indian) so I can't truly call that ethnic!
But apart from that food I like are -
1. All south east Asian countries - Thai the best!
2. Mexican (but not the American version with too much cheese)
3. Persian (again so like Indian food)
4. Italian
5. Chinese
6. Greek

Malay or Indonesian Cuisine (its the cuisine of the Malays and Indonesian), yummy. Coconut rice, Nasi Padang, Mee Soto, Mee Siam, Laksa etc.. You got to try it. There's an asian restaurant in San Jose, i forgot what's called, when there once. I love the food the serve, good price too. Its near the 88 Market.

Mexican by far. At my sis's wedding her parents in law made this smashing Mexican fiesta. I think I gained ten pounds at the reception. We have a couple of great restaurants nearby that are totally run by Mexicans and I can't get enough of their cheese sauce.
