Assuming neither of your parents is HIV positive, neither of you have had blood transfusions, neither of you has had an injury that could have resulted in innoculation with the HIV virus, neither of you have had any sexual experiences which could have resulted in an exchange of bodily fluids other than saliva, the risk of either of you being HIV positive is effectively zero.
HIV is uncommon outside of high risk groups: gay/bisexual men, intravenous drug abusers, patients unfortunate enough to have had lots of blood transfusions in the days before HIV was screened for among donors, sub-Saharan Africans, professional sex workers (especially female), female partners of males as well as children of mothers who fall into any of the above groups. Transmission is highest if engaging in unprotected anal sex as the recipient. It is next highest if engaging in unprotected vaginal sex as recipient. It is extremely unlikely to be transmitted by oral sex. It is extremely unlikely to be contracted by exclusively heterosexual males who do not have sex when their penises are in any way damaged or inflamed, and who do not engage in vaginal sex during their partner's period or anal sex at any time.

Having unprotected sex in not the only way how people can get AIDS. For example it can happen by you receiving tainted blood, in the event that you require a blood transfusion. It can also occur if your require surgery, and that the instruments are not sanitized properly. Another way that you can contact Aids is from sharing needles, and that is why there are programs by cities to rid the addicts of the old needle and to replace it with the new one.

Yes you can.You can also get aids from sharing needles. They are children born with HIV that later turns into aids so a person can be a virgin and still have it.The person you are with may not be a virgin maybe that's just what you are being told.Don't believe everything you hear. The only way to protect yourself completely is to abstain from intercourse. If you choose to do it use protection such as a condom.Even with a condom they are no guarantees.

You can get AIDS in many ways, not just through sex. Any tranfer of bodily fluid from one person to another has the potential to tranfer an infection from one person to another. Consider things like shared needles, contact with someones blood, things like that are just as dangerous as unprotected sex.
Every contact with another human can be a risk, do you really ever want to touch someone for fear of contracting an incurable disease.....
Forget the disease stuff and enjoy life, its shorter than you think, have sex now, for it may be too late next week.

AIDS is spread through the transfer of bodily fluids--blood, semen, vaginal discharge, etc. Even if you're both "virgins," meaning you've never had intercourse, you could still have contracted it through oral sex if you've done that with other people. It can also be transferred via blood transfusions, if either of you have ever had to go through surgery (though the screening process for that is almost 100% now, they do still make unfortunate mistakes).

You can also get aids from bad blood transfusions, infected parents and intervenous drug users. Never take a chance with your partner. If you don't get a disease you can get pregnant.
