The cheaper the oil the worse it smells too. I don't think it can be avoided totally, but if you can move the fry-daddy or fryer closer to an open window. Regardless put a fan in the window blowing out, that will help tremendously. Try to contain it in the kitchen if possible. Always put the oil away as soon you finish frying or it will linger too. I have one of those T-Fal deep fryers with a lid & it helps a little but it doen't stop all the odor ! One more thing always add a little used oil with the new oil, it tones it down that new oil smell is the worst.

Definitely invest in a deep fryer with a filtered cover. I got one at Target for $18.00 and all my neighbors ran out to get one too (we entertain alot). I also light a scented candle when deep-frying, or whenever I cook for that matter.

I go out to eat deep fried food. It's just to messy and not worth it to do it at home.

sure t-fal (and I am sure other manufacturers) offer sealed deep fryers, they have a locking top that has a filter in them...and they really do work!
Other than that febreze air effects helps 90%!! lol

activate followers, open the homestead windows, mild some scented candles, and wait it out! interior the destiny, close your room doors, open a window, and change on a fan once you cook dinner. That way the scent won't leak in the time of something of the homestead. good success!

that would make me nauseous... have you tried fried asparagus? Yummy--- Well, I will recommend to open your windows, and do you have one of those fans? Maybe clean the grease around your stove really well too--- that can cause bad odors.

Try steaming or baking. You'll be doing your nose - and your arteries- a favour.
