in approximately 1950 in parramatta nsw a chinese restaurant called hunts was fined for having cats on the premises and it was believed that they were serving it as chicken

first of all do you really think that someone has tried a cat and second off all why are you wondering what a cat tastes like and third off all wouldn't a chicken taste like a chicken.

I don't know first hand, but I would have to guess they do not. Cats are carnivores. Canivore meat is usually not pleasant tasting at all. Cats muscles are highly vascularized which probably would make most of their meat dark meat. I would think they would be much fattier than chickens too.

Probably not. Carnivores are supposed to taste nasty. The guy on Globe Trekker who ate dog said the meat tasted sour. I believe chicken tastes like chicken.

Im wondering why there is no cats around in my neighborhood.

I don't know about cats because that is not my culture. Alligator and frog legs do. I also heard that monkey does also. Curse those Home-Ec classes!
