Believe me - marbles work better. I've actually done that before!
Actually - what you should do is remove medications and any other embarrassing things you don't want guests to see before the party. And - to be nice - put a little basket out on the counter with aspirin, Tums - so they don't have that "excuse" to be looking in your cabinets.
