It's the way you arrange your fruit. You need to have it so that the ends of the bananas are hidden by the say apples and oranges and the middle of the bananas curve over the rest of the fruit. Don't have your bananas to high over the top of the bowl as this can ruin the whole effect!!! Also arranging your grapes in front of the bananas so you can just see the curve of them behind the grapes is quite effective.

God how sad am I!!!!!

Since the fruitbowl is square, you can put the rest of the fruit in the middle of the bowl and put one banana sticking up (not way up, just a couple of inches) from each side or you could have the bunch in a corner of the bowl and put the other fruit around and on it. Don't leave the bananas in the bowl too long or they will
cause the other fruit to go bad sooner. Also, putting some nuts in the bowl looks nice with the fruit. I have also put some fake (or real ) ivy leaves or other greenery, between the fruit and the sides of the bowl which looks good. And, last of all, a piece of fake cheese or even an artificial piece of fruit with glttery stuff on it (in the stores this time of the year) looks good with the other fruit. Sprinkling some small wrapped candies (a few) on there would do also! Hope it works out!

You shouldn't put bananas (or even bannanas) in a fruit bowl as they will make the other fruit go bad quicker. You can buy some very dinky banana hangers (try Lakeland Limited) which will keep all the fruit in good condition.

Ikea sell banana straighteners, they are near the fruit bowls!. A simple alternative is to place the banana centrally on a breaze block, curvature upwards, then tie 2 bricks to either end, 3 weeks later you will have perfectly straight bananas. Best of luck!

the earlier answer is right you should not put bananas with other fruit as when they are picked they are green, packed onto container ships, they are exposed to a gas which makes them ripen while travelling across the atlantic and when you buy them from the supermarket they are nicely ripe, those gases are absorbed by the banana and they are gradually given off again in your fruit bowl. You would be better getting a banana tree for them and arrange the rest of your fruit in the bowl

nicely, for centerpieces i could attempt the community backyard shop, and purchase POTTED flowers or bypass on your individual backyard, then, some days formerly the marriage, invite pals and relatives over to have a small occasion and all of us helps make the centerpieces. attempt a shop like Michaels or interest foyer for ribbons, and the dollar shop has great sparkling vases and that they are somewhat decrease priced. only only be advantageous you preserve the frresh centerpieces in a freezer or refidgerator to maintain them finding healthful untill the marriage day. As for an arch to get married under, i could advise traveling WalMart or yet another furnish shop. they often sell arches which you will prepare your self. those you may conceal with fabric, flowers, lights fixtures, and so on. , and value little or no. stable luck!

u of course cant straighten them but use them at the bottom or side of fruit arg. so that the curved portion is hidden by other fruits and only the ends show. this is also a good use of the space

You should hang bananas and not put them with other fruit!

Have you noticed that the bananas are getting straighter anyway these days? (Some EU regulation). So, hang in there, straighter bananas are on the way!

You should lay them over the top of the fruit, kind of draped, if you know what I mean? Bananas are supposed to be hung upright , apparently.
