did not invlove any sex but was infected by razor..or hair cut...or other cuts...how?

It's still a sexually transmitted disease. . .

Treatment does not change, transmission mode does not change . . .

Regardless of how you get it, the virus or disease itself is still an STD, it's just a catagory it falls into and how it's generally transmitted.

As for fair? I don't know about that, is it fair that a child can get neo-natal herpes from its mother or HIV from it's mother? No absolutely not but like I said, catagorically they have to put it somewhere.

It VERY rare that you find ppl that were affect by STD's by other means besides sex. So yes...it is fair. There's a reason why they call it an STD....b/c the majority of ppl affect have had sex to get them. Majority rules *shrug*

it is not fair but I wish people would stop saying sexually transmitted disease to every thing if it is curable then it is not a disease but rather an infection In New York state they have changed it to sexually transmitted infection (sti) if it is curable
