I've been vegan for almost 4 years now :-) It isn't that hard once you've been doing it a while. The first few weeks are tough because you're constantly reading labels. Then it's just sort of ... interesting ... as you learn to cook veggie-centric meals. After that, it just gets routine.
The only times it's difficult nowadays is when I go to a new restaurant, when I'm standing in line at the grocery store and craving a candy bar (none of which are vegan, alas), when there's a potluck at work and I have to bring double or triple what everyone else brings so I'll have variety and enough to eat, and occasionally when I miss angel food cake. Other than that, I don't even think about it most days!

whats so importamnt either way,as vegitarians can eat foods that are just as good for us then Vegans.

Was a vegetarian for 11 years, then went vegan this past year after I watched the documentary "Earthlings" . You can see the preview on google video, FYI...

Vegetarian. Tried Vegan but it was too hard to eat out. I eat cheese and products that have eggs or milk cooked in them.
