Very simple and very tasty -

MALAI KULFI

1 8 oz tin of condensed milk
1 8 oz tin of evaporated milk
1 8 oz. tin of table cream
2 tablespoons of raisins
2 tablespoons of cashew nuts
1/2 tea spoon of ground cardamom

Put all of these in a blender and run blender for 5 minutes or so, until the mixture is smooth. Pour in a freezing tray and freeze.

Once frozen you can serve it with either rose syrup or pureed ripe mango/ mangom pulp (you can get these at Indian stores) on top.

Easy Mother's Day Cake Ingredients * 1 store bought or homemade Angel Food or Pound Cake (or make one from a cake mix) * 1-12 oz. container frozen whipped topping thawed * 1 qt. strawberries or 3 lg. Butterfinger Candy Bars Directions 1. Remove stems, wash berries and slice into a bowl. Sweeten berries with 2 tablespoons or sugar and stir. 2. OR: Remove candy wrappers and put candy bars in a zipper plastic bag. Close the bag and crush candy bars with a rolling pin. Get some help to cut the cake into 3 layers. 3. Place one layer on a pretty cake dish. Spread 1/3 of the whipped topping on this first layer. Top with 1/3 of the sliced strawberries OR crushed candy bars. 4. Place the next cake layer on top and top with another 1/3 of the topping, then 1/3 of the berries OR crushed candy bars. Do the same for the last layer. Refrigerate until serving time. 5. Decorate the cake with a few big un-sliced berries or some flowers or green leaves. Good Luck!!

Hildegards Heart Cookies

Opens the heart, clear the senses and cleanses the blood....

* 2 lb spelt flour
* 1/2 lb brown sugar
* 1 lb butter
* 4 eggs
* 1 ounce nutmeg
* 1 ounce cinnamon
* 1 ounce cardamon (ground)
* 1 pinch of cloves powdered
* 1/2 cardamom or ground hazelnut (optional)

Mix dry ingredients well, add eggs and melted butter, mix again and put the mixture in the fridge for a while. Form cookies (heart shaped) and bake 10-15 minutes in oven at 180

Oh I have a wonderful cardamom cake recipe!!! If you click on the "source link" you can read the reviews that others have left and see pictures they took of the recipe. One reviewer had some problems.... but I think a step or ingredient must have been missed.

Spice Cake With Cardamom-Coffee Icing
Cake
2 1/4 cups unbleached flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/4 cups buttermilk
Cardamom-Coffee Icing
1/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon espresso powder
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup butter
3/4 cup confectioners' sugar

1. To make the cake:
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
3. Sift dry ingredients.
4. In a large bowl, cream butter & sugars; add eggs one at a time; then vanilla, mixing until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes).
5. Beat in dry ingredients alternating with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
6. Beat until just smooth, about a minute.
7. Pour into two 8-inch (or a 13x9) greased and floured pans. Bake for about 30-35 minutes for layers, 35-40 minutes for 13X9 cake, or until cake tester is removed clean.
8. Remove from oven and cool on racks about 10 minutes. Remove from pans and finish cooling on racks.
9. To make the icing:
10. Heat milk and dissolve espresso powder in it, then allow it to cool.
11. Beat together remaining ingredients, add coffee mixture and continue beating until fluffy.
12. Ice cake when cool.
