It's quite good. I like mine crisp but use it softer for BLT's.

Because it's not fatty, the texture is grainy/dry. The flavor is passable. Perhaps you could fry it in lots of oil. It's best eaten on a sandwich or in something. It won't fool bacon eaters, but vegetarians who remember eating bacon "back in the day," appreciate it.

Kinda yeah, its pretty wierd. If you want a tasty bacon substitute try morning star farm bacon strips- they are amazing!

I have never tried it but found a poster on a vegan site who loved it.
