the first thing that comes to my mind is watermelon. its filling too. then of course, these days chef sanjeev kapoor is promoting a lot of food cooked without oil. u could check out his site. plenty of salads u can eat too, healthy at the same time fat free

You need to first find your body type. What kind of foods react how? Some people cant handle starch at all while there are others who can handle some quantities without putting on weight.

I personally hate this fat free fad. Its only bullshit!. What you should have is a "balanced diet". Eat everything just dont overdo it. Based on your body type, balance your diet accordingly. Eat 4 to 5 small meals every day rather than 2 large meals.
Do some deep breathing exercises in the morning. 30 min. per day is all you need. Wonderful results.
You live 1 life. Live it well. Enjoy everything but stay within limits.

There are a number of cereals out there that are healthy. If you drink milk, use fat free. They make low fat and fat free soy milk, too.

Good snacks include fat free yogurt, 94% fat free popcorn, pretzels, fruit, fruit salad, fruit leathers, and fruit snacks. There are different brands that carry low fat or fat free ice cream. Some types of soy ice cream are very low in fat, too.

Boca makes vegan burger patties that are close to fat free. You can also make pasta with tomato sauce- just check the labels on the tomato sauce. Some have a lot of fat because there's cheese in it. Homemade tacos and burritos aren't very fattening, as long as you don't use too much cheese. You can use fat free refried beans, vegetarian meat crumbles, and low fat flour tortillas or corn tortillas. Stir fried vegetables with rice is a good, healthy meal. Eat a large salad with low fat dressing, because lettuce has very little calories and can fill you up if you eat a lot of it. Corn on the cob is a healthy side meal, provided you don't add any butter. Sandwiches with mustard, Tofurkey, lettuce, onions, and tomatoes are healthy. If you read the nutrition information on different types of bread, choose one with low amounts of fat and high levels of fiber.

Go to a health food store, such as Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, or Wild Oats. They've got tons of foods that you've probably never thought about. Some are not that healthy though, so read the labels.

all the answers are good. But as a nurse i must tell you, you need a small amount of fat to maintain your skin turgor and cells. Not a lot but some..The vegan Boca burgers and italian sausage are the best things ive ever eaten. They are all soy protein. etc. the chicken pattys also. these added to your meals will not put weight on but make a nice variety. with a salad or vegtables. I use the boca italian sausage with onions and peppers and you would think it was the real deal also in spagetti sauce. I use fat free cheese with the burgers and chicken pattys and make cheese burgers and chicken parmeasean with no fat wonderful

Oatmeal with a handful of brown sugar and a splash of soy or rice milk. (Sprinkle with nuts/seeds for a beneficial fat if you allow yourself an indulgence). Lentil soup is very filling due to the high fiber content. Served with brown rice is even better. Morningstar farms hot dogs (in the frozen food section) are only 1/2 gram of fat each. Dress with mustard, ketchup and relish and it's lovely. Vegetarian baked beans are generally low fat.
www.ravediet.com for a DVD and book. It will help you find a healthy direction. Don't forget you need some fat to help metabolize fat soluble vitamins (Vitamins A,D and E). The carrots in your salad won't give you all their vitamin A unless there are a couple of grams of fats to carry them into your system. (I suggest nuts and seeds or avocado for the best fats, mmmm, roasted pumpkin seeds!)

fat free sour cream mixed with onion dip mix - then make a pretty plate with fresh broccoli, cauliflower, carrots tomato slices and cucumber - dip away . Very filling all that fiber from the veggies is sooo good foryou.
Fat free cream cheese , mixed with salsa , use fat free sparay oil to pan toast some fat free corn tortillas = Chips and creamy salsa Yum!

Jubilee Rice and Mushrooms

1 c. Lundberg Jubilee Rice
6 oz. thick-sliced portabello mushrooms
1 onion, sliced thin
1 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 lb. thin fresh green beans
2 tsp. creole seasoning (I used Tony Chachère's No Salt
Seasoning)
3 c. vegetable broth
1 c. bean sprouts

Throw everything but the sprouts in the rice cooker. Cook until
liquid is absorbed and cooker switches to "keep". Leave on
"keep" without lifting lid until ready to serve. Stir in bean
sprouts just before dishing out. Comes out chewy and rich with
mushroom flavor. Variant: if you have time to "fiddle" before
you serve, leave out the green beans and add them to the pot 10
minutes before serving. Replace lid and let the beans steam
while the pot is set for "keep". This method should keep the
green beans greener and crisp-tender.

Also, any legumes -- peas, beans, etc. Potatoes, yams, carrots, winter squash,etc. By themselves they are essentially fat-free. Just don't add any oils or fats (mayo, spreads) if you can. Try seasonings instead.

eat less carbs try to only eat fresh veges instead of bread pasta etc.
try wholewheat bread
whole wheat pasta
soy chips
no fried foods like fries onion rings deep fried chicken
try salads with veges and no dressing instead use low fat or fat free cheese
