The English. I collect bone china tea cups, I have many with an English Hallmark on them. I also collect Wedgewood. It is not bone china, but it is beautiful, and English.

Yes! Bone china is a type of porcelain body first developed in Britain in which calcined ox bone (bone ash) is a major constituent. It is characterized by high whiteness, translucency and strength. Production usually involves a two stage firing where the first, bisque, is without a glaze at 1280 °C (2336 °F), which gives a translucent product and then glaze, or glost, fired at a lower temperature below 1080 °C (1976 °F).

The best China you could possibly buy is made in Luxembourg by a company called Villeroy and Boch!

Go look at there website, the quality and durability are second to none. This is the china that is usually used in top class restaurants. It lasts forever!

I love my Noritake china. I have both sets from my grandma and mother. They've held up extremely well, except for my move. Even the gold edges are still on them.

I think I know what you're talking about with the blue and white. All I can remember is it's from Holland. I cannot think of the name anymore.
