It is probably just sore after you have sex because of the constant friction of the penis entering the vagina. Lubrication like KY jelly can help with this. If it is sore for a long time, like days later you may want to have your doctor take a look at you.
And, once you get rid of HPV you can always contract it again.

it sounds like you need to use some lubercation. if you vagina is sore and tearing it is probally rubbing the skin raw, I had the same problem while I was pregnant, my vagina would be sore for a couple of days after sex, but since I've had the baby, everything is fine. just make sure that when you had your pap that they checked you for stds also.

Try lubrication that is safe with condoms (if you are using condoms). Too much sex, rigorous sex, the guy is too big for your vagina, or you are allergic to latex or sex aides all these can cause this problem. You should ask a doctor.
I just started reading these questions and answers and Alli seems to be right on all the time. TY Alli. I have it too!

I think it's so very odd to continue to have sex when you are infected with something...in your case, a "sore vagina". You're pathetic...you may have vaginismus...but with that case of HPV, could be something else.
HPV doesn't "go away"...just goes into remission.

Could be a lot of things I don't think HPV comes back though once your body has cleared itself of it could it be a different strain of HPV. Have you changed partners. Could you be allergic to condoms that happens to me with condoms.

Maybe you need to quit having sex for a while and go see your doctor. You may have something you are spreading to your partner if you are having unprotected sex. Calm down, call your ob/gyn and let the doc go from there.

Nine times out of ten HPV is caused by an STD. You should get a thorough examination to make sure that you don't have one. Generally herpes will lay dormant and sometimes an STD test won't pick it up unless you get tested during the onset of a flare up. But you should definitely stay up to date with it. HPV is a big cause of uterine cancer so be careful. Usually HPV will not cause any external irritation. That's why it goes unnoticed and untreated.

It could be yeast infection which can be caused by antibiotics. You can get cream over the counter to help clear it up. If that doesn't do it you need to go back to your doctor.
