been isolated and I am wondering how long will she be isolated? and what are the symptoms of it for example, cough?

Depending on where she's infected with MRSA, it may take up to 6 weeks (or more) to kill this infection. But I hope her doctors explained that there is no guarentee that the MRSA will ever resolve.

It all depends on how the mrsa infection responds to the clindamycin. If your mom's resistance is low at this point, it may take a little longer cuz her body isn't helping to fight the infection as efficiently. Discuss this with her doctor, he may be able to give you a ballpark of how long. Good luck=).
