Take 4 deep breaths, in and out, don't hold it. Does this release the pain a bit? Does it help relieve the dizziness? You sound like me before I was diagnosed with low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).
Check out the symptoms link at www.hufa.org and see how many other symptoms you are having.
Then go make yourself a tuna sandwich (unless you have not even had breakfast yet). Start eating more protein, either meat or vegetable protein (soy is a part of my diet now).
Please e-mail me if you wish. I am concerned.

The only way to find out whats happening is to schedule an appointment with your primary doctor and have them do an EKG. Try not to research it too much on the internet because it'll most likely lead to panic attacks.
Chest pains can be caused by anything including the need to belch. Assuming its not that I would definitely advice you see a doctor and have the do an EKG, if they notice anything they'll schedule you for an appointment with a cardiologist.
Stay calm when these pains happen, anxiety only tightens your chest walls.

18 yr old......Chest pain, shortness of breath and dizziness.
You have acknowledged that it is serious. It might be. So, the best thing would be to have your physician to check you up and also get some basic investigations done chest xray, ekg, blood tests etc.
The reason you might have these symptoms can range from Stress, Anxiety to potentially dangerous ones such as Hypertension, Heart problems and Respiratory problems all of which need some treatment. So, do get yourself checked.

relax man i think you most probably are just having panic attacks .
a good way of differentiating an organic problem in the heart would be that is like a heavy weight on the chest associated with sweating and extreme fear, it is usually increased by exercise and a full stomach and emotional situations .
you didnt mention any such relationships while at the same time you obviously have some issues and are at that age when we usually get panic attacks.
i recommend you relax, engage in a hobby and simple exercise like jogging, and do some serious thinking man, believe you have nothing to be afraid of as long as you stay within law and common sense in your life, life has yet to offer you everything you wish.

There are many possible causes but all need evaluated by a physician, not by this site. Your will hear many answers but none of them can be of help, perhaps only delay real medical care. Some of the possible causes can be myocarditis, anterior chest wall syndrone, cardiac tamponade, pericarditis, hysteric reaction, pleuritis, pneumonia...and not one of these can be diagnosed by this website......See a doctor!

Sounds to me like it's an irregular heart beating which may be due to very high stress levels, perscripition drugs, high fat in the heart, or many other conditions. The information you gave me didn't help properly diagonose this problem.
One thing i could recommend is to eat Onions and Garlic- for both have the effects of acetaphenomin (asprin) and combined these have great benifits for your heart.
Please Visit you Doctor/Local Hospital at this time, immeaditly!

you need to get to a hospital. you don't have to pay right away any way, that doesn't sound too good, maybe you just have panic attacks, does it happen if you get nervous or excited or when you do any thing to exert yourself, regardless I went go immediately and have myself checked, your heart is nothing to play around with. I'll pray for you.
