I do that alot .Don't listen to music that is depressing ,listen to music that is up beat ,dance in your room are where ever .Write down why your depressed then , think positive like I deserve to be happy and I am a good person , if your mad at some one scream into a pillow then see it as the reason tell it your mad because ? and roll up a news paper and beat it while telling it why your upset .I thought this was pretty stupid when I went to counseling but it felt so good afterwords.

Whenever I exercise I always feel much better. Exercise
increases our 'Endorphins' which makes us feel happy.
Also sitting out in the sun and fresh air is also good for us.
I also pump up the volume on the music channel that usually
does the trick.
Reaching for comfort foods at this time creates bad habits
and should be avoided unless you really are hungry, just
listen to your body.

I sit with my son. He brings that funk out of me. If you work, and are aroung alot of people, that will bring it out of you. If you just take your time. I've always felt that that ALONE TIME is good, just to reconnect to yourself and what you are about. Sometimes we get lost in pleasure and doing for others that we forget. Don't sit at home and eat, you'll get fat and then be more depressed. Get out the house, workout, hang out and you dont have to talk, just hang out. Laugh a little, cry a little, whatever helps you get through a sad time.
Always remember what has worked once, may work again and may not. Take your time and WORK IT OUT!!!!

If your good with writing - break out a pad of paper and write -
Reading??? grab a novel and read
Music??? put on some tunes and shake your booty
Eating??? Eat a handful only!!!! or you'll regret and feel worse
Sports?? Grab some sneakers and head outdoors or just work out at home

i think that you should entertain your self by reading a book, catch up on house work/chores or play a video game or computer game. Better yet play online games that are very addictive and fun. Or go to the park, ride a bike and get some fresh air. I hope this help.

Yea... sometimes i don't like to talk to others when im feeling low and i hate it when they keep pushing and then act like they know exactly how to cure me. Anyway, maybe keep a journel(writing reealy releases a lot of neg. energy), taking a walk alone, community service, reading, music, or eating something sweet!

Get some sun, then remember we all get the blues. I usually watch my cats play,, they are so silly. And I laugh at all the silly questions on Yahoo Q & A!!

I have this problem alot....I take a jog. Or I play with my dog......but try to find a place where u can go and be alone and just relax....find a lake to watch the moon and the ducks or something
