Depends on where you get it, sputum, urine, etc, pain, etc, they will do a swab at thehospital to see what antibiotics the MRSA will respond to, mine responded to tetracycline, I was glad, Vanc, will do some nasty things to your body, Vancomycin.

Well, it's hard to answer that question, MRSA is Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus, and is an increasingly common bug we find in the hospital these days. It can cause a number of disease from pneumonia to cellulitis, and the symptoms will be different in each one, which is why it's hard to answer the question.
The big deal about MRSA is that it's resistant to most of the antibiotics that we use on gram positive organisms and can be very agressive, so we treat it with "big-gun" antibiotics like vancomycin. Other than that, it's much the same as other organisms.
