We have a restaurant here in Toronto that is quite famous called "Garden Gate Good Food"... and for years most of the lights were burnt out, so all it said was "GooF" LoL! Needless to say... it is now called "The Goof!"

I always order the #7 combo which is Beef with Vegetables and almonds, Sweet and Sour Pork , Chicken Chowmein with Fried Rice. Yum!!!

My fave Chinese Food dish is Cantonese Chowmein... gotta love the noodles~!!

Well, I usually go w/ the same crowd & we all share. We order Shrimp Rolls, Egg Drop Soup (I'm the only one who eats it!), Beef and Broccoli, General Tsao's Chicken, Chicken and Garlic, and Sweet and Sour Chicken with a large Steamed Rice and a large Fried Rice. Don't forget the chopsticks and a large coke to wash it all down! Wow, we sound really fat, but we're not, I promise!!! Although, I am getting pretty hungry...

I always have a hard time deciding b/c it is ALL SO GOOD!

I like combination fried rice and entrees with a white sauce like Moo Goo Gai Pan or Shrimp & Lobster Sauce.

Appetizers galore! Chicken wings, egg or spring rolls (vietnamese make the best), pot stickers etc..

I love vietnamese wonton soup b/c it has a lot of extra stuff in it besides the wontons floating around, like little pieces of pork, cabbage, carrots and bean sprouts.

I put soy sauce on almost everything b/c I like my food salty, not sweet, so sweet and sour anything is not for me.

I am authentic when I have chinese take away. I would try Wonton with noodle (preferably thick rice noodle), or other not so usual dishes. If you game enough, try the beef brisket with noodle/rice, or my favourite fry fish skins with rice noodle (not many serve this type of dishes but I am sure there are few shops who do in your city Chinatown). Otherwise I would try Chinese Salty fish with Chiken fry rice, its yummy highly recommended.

I like lots of different dishes, so my orders vary but i'll give an example of a friday nights order.

Salt & pepper ribs, prawn toast, beef with tomato and egg fried rice...... maybe some prawn crackers yeh why not only a £1.
