If you have herpes and find out while you are basic can you get medical discharge for that or discharged or all.

well, it's not AIDS and you can go to a head doc and let them know your not coping with the STD well it's ruining your life you never thought that you of all people would get herpes. it is life long and stress which the military is very stressful can help bring on signs and symptoms.

I doubt it. They don't even discharge people for having HIV anymore.
Catching STDs is a long, time-honored military tradition, so I bet you're not the first to get "the gift that keeps on giving."

Actually depends on the company. My friend was let go of her job cause she got HIV. But in most cases no you do not lose your job over STD's.

you can get a normal discharge if you are in basic and if you have sex while your in basic you need to know it is not allowed so you can get in trouble!!!
