Yes if you have any sort of cut on your lips, and the other persons sore is weeping.

AND if that person was to go down on you whilst having cold sore on lips then you could get infected with Herpes on your genitals, SO BEWARE if cold sores present...

Yes, they may say it is not Herpes but any cold sores on or around the mouth is a form of Herpes. And can be passed through kissing.

You can only get herpes simplex from someone who is infected with the virus. If you have an open sore regardless of how small, yes you can. That would be the common cold sore.
Other forms of the herpes virus most common are genital herpes only transmitted by unprotected sex, Herpes zoster.....it lays dormant in your spinal fluids after you have had chicken pox. When it erupts it manifests itself as shingles.
and Epstein Barr...or chronic fatigue syndrome.

Never fatal....always a problem.

YES!!! a blister or cold sore is herpes. There are 2 categories cold sores and gential herpes.

If you kiss someone with a cold sore or blister they can give it to you even when they do not have one. If someone who has cold sores or blisters has them when they give you oral sex, you will most likely get gential herpes.

No - someone has to have it before someone else can catch it. It doesn't float in the air, and it just doesn't happen by itself. From a technical standpoint, an innocent cold sore is a form of herpes, though.

If a person has a blister on their lips then they have herpes... it is a different form of herpes HSV1 not HSV2 which is the one that causes bumps on your penis and vagina as well as one's anus...
