You should consult your doctor/cardiologist before starting any exercise routine. Then, I suggest you hire a personal trainer so that he or she can taylor a regimen for your specific needs. I'm sure this will probably consist of walking and light weight resistance for starters. Best wishes!

you can probably do light exercises, -but don't overdo it because it will wear you out (not fun) by light exercises i mean like walking maybe a mile or two-and stopping when you need a break, not joining a 10k run. my cardiologist tells me to just walk, but not to lift weights or anything like that, but, like i said that is what MY cardiologist told ME. i don't know what kinds of problems you have though, so you should probably talk to your cardiologist and you can both figure out a good plan specially for you, that's the best and SAFEST thing to do.
