Get the brand your husband likes.

You are getting a keg for a bunch of doctors and you are worried about the brand being a real red necker? I guess I would go with probably a dark or a red beer. If you think bud light is out of line then so will most any pilsners.

If you're going with the keg idea, it really doesn't matter what brand you get as a keg is pretty 'redneck' on it's own.

Get bottles. And purchase a variety of them. Include a microbrew pumpkin beer in addition to a couple of mainstream beers and maybe something like Heineken.

I dont think that rich doctors want a keg. I suggest offering American beer, an imported beer and wine.

red neck beer? is there such a thing as upscale beer? If there was, I'm sure it wouldn't come in a keg. A keg is usually for Keggers, which are thrown by college kids and the people you lovingly refer to as rednecks.

Redneck Beer???Where I come from the true rednecks drink OLD MILWAUKEE.......You are just cheap and trying to express yourself ....A KEG? Doctors would never drink that much, then drive home. Are do you have a driver to take them home?

I too would not go for the keg beer. Quality vs.Quantity
If you go with bottles you can have some variety.
If your determined to go with the keg I don't think it matters.

Try and get a seasonal, like Sam Adams Oktoberfest or similar. It will be a change from the norm and should be a good hit, as long as they like amber ales. Stay away from Heinekin, Corona, Tecate or anything else that is easily accessible at a local watering hole.

I wouldn't worry so much about redneck beer. I'd worry about what kind of beer they actually like. It's a waste of money to get something that they're not gonna like just because it's a classier beer. Ask your husband, he should at least have an idea.

Miller lite is a good choice. It tastes good and is less filling so people tend to drink alot of it.

Yuengling is also good but it is a lager and you can get full very easily and people may not drink as much.

Busweiser is always a great one. Im not sure where you are from but it is not a "redneck" beer. It is the KING of beers
