I have pretty bad credit as it stands but i work and can pay my bill. But need a credit card now for medical reasons. I have monthly checks but not in my name but I control it for the living in the house. But I can only afford a monthly payment not immedate cash on hand. My mom is 75 and sick. I want her to be comfortable and i would like to buy her things she needs now. Not once a month or so. Can you give me some agents that will trust in a citizen of need at this moment and time?

Is your credit really, really bad or have you just been late a few times,or not paid at all. There are some companies out there.. I don't know where you live but a while back I worked for a credit card co. called CROSS COUNTRY, they are out of Wilmington, Del.,. Like some one else said it will be the interest that will kill you. However some companies will start you over and you may have to put like 500.00 deposit and therefore your limit would be 500.00/,. The key is to not just make mtly payments, but send extra or even better pay in full. when they see paying on time, they will increase your limit. You may not have to deposit up front. good luck. Why doesn't the person who has the check apply? that seems much easier to qualify with them, especially if they have a bank account! Rumor has it they can track you down even after 20 yrs, So be careful not to get in trouble again.lots of luck

Your problem may not be an initial payment but you most likely will be looking at a pretty high interest rate. I recommend you read the fine print and take your time getting one that is right for you...
