For most people HPV (the virus that causes genital warts) goes away on its own. So, your body may be able to get rid of it in the future. But for now, there are a few ways of treating the warts.
I personally think the easiest way is by going to the doctor and having them write you a prescription for some cream. Aldara and Condylox are both creams available with a prescription from your doctor. Either one of these can be applied at your convenience at your own home. If you do get one of these medications make sure you read the directions because it can actually cause a person to get 2nd and 3rd degree burns from it, no joke! And, it can take a while for the warts to disappear. I used Aldara about 10 months ago and it took a little over a month for the warts to completely go away.
If this doesn't work, you may need to have the doctor apply a stronger medication at the office. This is done in several visits, is more expensive and can be pretty painful from what I have heard.
If that still doesn't work or the warts are severe you may even need to have them surgically removed. The doctor can freeze them off or burn them off. I personally saw this as a last resort and wanted to try the cream at home first.
You really should get them treated by a doctor. Do NOT use over the counter products or any "home remedies". This can irritate the skin even more and burn it! Over the counter medication for warts is for hand and feet warts. It is too strong for a sensitive area like the genital area.

Dont mind some of these dim witted people that R saying there's no cure. But anyways, you should definately seek another doctor, the 1 u have is just taking your money frequently instead of just a 1 shot thing. You can search for this online to just read the info, its called DERMISIL, kills wart virus from the outside and causes the warts to dry up and flake away. But do NOT buy online, buying meds online is not safe, Ask a doctor about it and tell him your issue. These people who r saying there's no cure, dont seem to get the idea that u can get this from even some1 that you'r with for a long time because u dont even know what they do out there.. and it only takes 1 time for that to happen then u end up getting it becuz ur so inlove with your so called perfect man or woman. Dont be Shallow. Disease dont have a certain look on thier face. U can meet some1 in a business suit who's very well spoken and "clean looking".. doesnt make a difference.

You have to show it to an doctor and get his treatment in the proper way. However please note the treatments for Gemota; warts are -
Genital warts often disappear even without treatment. In other cases, they eventually may develop a fleshy, small raised growth. There is no way to predict whether the warts will grow or disappear.
Depending on factors such as the size and location of the genital warts, a doctor will offer you one of several ways to treat them.
- Imiquimod, (Aldara®) a topical immune response cream which you can apply to the affected area
- A 20% podophyllin anti-mitotic solution, which you can apply to the affected area and later wash off
- A 0.5% podofilox solution, applied to the affected area but shouldn’t be washed off
- A 5% 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) cream
- Trichloroacetic acid (TCA)
- Pulsed dye laser
- Liquid nitrogen cryosurgery
If you are pregnant, you should not use podophyllin or podofilox because they are absorbed by the skin and may cause birth defects in your baby. In addition, you should not use 5-fluorouracil cream if you are trying to become pregnant or if there is a possibility that you could be pregnant.
If you have small warts, the doctor can remove them by freezing (cryosurgery), burning (electrocautery), or laser treatment. Occasionally, the doctor will have to use surgery to remove large warts that have not responded to other treatment.
You whould also know what are Genital Warts -
Genital warts (or condyloma, or condylomata acuminata) is a highly contagious sexually transmitted infection. Caused by some variants of the Human papillomavirus, typically HPV 6 and HPV 11, it is spread during oral, genital, or anal sex with an infected partner. Genital warts (condylomata acuminata or venereal warts) are the most easily recognized sign of genital HPV infection. Most people who acquire those strains never develop warts or any other symptoms. HPV is also responsible for over 90% of all cases of cervical cancer.
Genital warts often occur in clusters and can be very tiny or can spread into large masses in the genital or anal area. In women the warts occur on the outside and inside of the vagina, on the opening (cervix) to the womb (uterus), or around the anus. While genital warts are approximately as prevalent in men, the symptoms of the disease may be less obvious. When present, they usually are seen on the tip of the penis. They also may be found on the shaft of the penis, on the scrotum, or around the anus. Rarely, genital warts also can develop in the mouth or throat of a person who has had oral sex with an infected person.

I have a vagina warth and it is either type 6 or 11 since I had to deal with a bad infection . My doctor froze the warth for me and a week later I have to go for further treatments . Once you get rid of the warth you eliminate the viruses so your body can defend easily if there is any viruse left in your body . I just talked to somone else and she told me that there is a new medicine in the market that can kill type 6 and 11 , and she took it and she is ok now . Meanwhile you have to work on your immune system take lots of vitamin and good food and get rid of the warth as soon as you can eventhough it might cost you lots of money if you live in the states ( i am canadian and i didnt have to pay so I dont know how expensive it is to get rid of the warth)

actually yes there is a cream that will cure them and occasionally but rarely they will go away on their own, they shouldnt be confused with herpes which has no cure, only the outbreaks can be controlled, there is a big difference between the two also genital warts can be spread with or without condoms and in women if not treated can cause cervical cancer

There is no cure. You can get a dnc and laporoscopy and remove them but they are still there laying dormant. And if you get an outbreak you can spread them to your partner. Genital warts are like herpes. Except they are not painful.
