depends on what you mean when you say been checked out for my heart? Had an ultra sound of your heart. Blood pressure. EKG? Which? If those ruled out your heart, another problem could be, GURD. Exspecially if it's at night. GURD, is acid reflex disease, it feels just like a heart attack let me tell you. Not only do I have it. I am a nurse. At night the acid come up into your throat and actually does go into your chest area, it burns and hurts. Try OTC over the counter, prilosec first see if that does help. Take it at night. Try to not eat too late. Raise your head, sleep with your head up higher. If that does not cure it, I would see a doctor again. However, if you have truly ruled out your heart, and it's at night, I truly believe its Acid Reflux disease, ask your doctor. Symptoms include, heartburn, feeling full, sometimes chocking or spitting up at night. Pain in chest, exspecially if you lay on you left side. If you lay on the right side, you get right side pain its where the acid goes. It's painful and dangerous. If prilosec releaves it, you know what it is.
I hope it helps. It not, remember pain is your body's way of tellling you somethings wrong, don't ignore it.

Could be carpal tunnel. the pain is often in the shoulder not the wrist and is worse at night.
Try sleeping in a recliner and see if it is better. If so, probably carpal tunnel. You will have to see a dr. one way or the other so might as well go now.

Could be bone spurs on the "rotary cuff" I have had the same problem for 2 years and it is getting worse! See a doctor soon because if that's what it is and you wait too long it can't be repaired!
