It's true that everyone has their quirks but generally, as a Mexican living in Mexico, I can tell you...definitely not! On tostadas you put jalapeños or other hot peppers.

On a burger or sandwich pickles are popular over here... but never on a Mexican dish. Remember the ad of ketchup on filet mignon? It's something like that, not that tostadas are a delicacy or anything, it just doesn't go.

Not many folks I know like pickels, my ex who is Mexican puts Mayo On everything!I finalloy had to start buying the Costco size
