I am not "pumped" after I exercise, I'm exhausted. I breath fine and have no chest pains, but could it STILL be my heart,,,mabe? If not, then what the HELL is wrong with me!!!!!!!????????

it could be depression.
or you're right, it could be your heart. most people with heart disease don't have chest pain. chest pain is usually characteristic of ischemia, or lack of oxygen supply to the heart muscle. there are many other diseases of the heart that do not cause ongoing chest pain.

What kind of exercise do you do? I know after I run a couple of miles I feel more awake. And this is an ongoing exercise routine, not just one a week. Also, it could be your diet. I know when I eat a lot of 'white' starches (bread, rice, cereal, pasta) I feel less energized. After eliminating those foods and eating more whole wheat foods, I felt more vibrant. You could also be lacking vitamins/minerals. I take multivitams every day, w/o it, I feel sleepy. I doubt its a heart problem, unless you've been exeriencing a lot of stress or have been eating fatty/high-cholesterol foods. Try to eat more raw fresh fruits and vegetables, plus a good amount of water. I also know there something called Chronic Fatigue Syndrome- when someone is extremely unfunctional because they're constantly exhausted/tired----ask your doctor about it. Hope this helps :)

I don't have M.D. after my name, but yes you can have
heart problems and never know it . I lost my baby brother
to a massive heart attack one year ago last June 28, he
was 52, a volunteer fireman. He was on his way back to the
firehouse from a run. A call came in, a truck parked in the
road, a man slumped over the wheel His foot on the break,
microphone in his hand. they administered CPR too late, he
was already gone. That quick no good byes no I love yous.
I still can't believe it.
Please make an appointment and have yourself
checked out, it could be something it could not be anything
if you're not satisfied get a second opinion. You may be glad
you did.

Well,my wife has heart problems, and had no symptons at all.She suddenly gained more weight than she was ever used to,and went to be tested and found out by some weird coincidence she had congestive heart failure, but my dad didnt have any symptons, except loss of energy after we worked out,and had a heart attack the next week after being tested for that very problem.

It could be a lot of things. How's your diet? If you eat a lot of carbohydrates (pasta, rice, anything with sugar) this could be the cause. Do you take any medications? Some medications can cause you to be tired all the time. If you are really worried about your heart, ask your doctor to do an EKG and maybe an echocardiogram.

I wonder if this could be mitral valve prolapse? I have a mild case of it and I am exhausted very often. One doctor told me that mitral valve prolapse used to be called the tired house wifes syndrome...this was before you could get a echo. I think you should have a echo done. If you have mild mitral valve prolapse, it is often not serious. but like you... I am dang tired of being tired!!!

Get a complete physical. Everybody needs a base line cardiogram. ask for it when you get your physical. Had the same problems but finally found I had inflamatory arthritis. It didn't show for a long time.
