You say that your husband is a diabetic and has circulation problems with his feet? My husband is also a diabetic and he gets blisters on his toe of his left foot, he has gone to a podiatrist and he also had surgery for bi pass surgery on the same foot, which was a big mistake on his part for agreeing to the surgery. before the surgery he did not have any problem whatsoever with having tired feet, or standing for a long time on his feet, now he can not stand not even for 15 minutes, and his foot is always aching. My husband says that he would reccomend people to at least talk to their Doctor, to find out if there is another alternative before agreeing to the bipass surgery. Or at least ask for another Doctor for a second opinion..

Not sure what the ques. is but circulation problems in diabetics is normal. My advice, make sure he is able to keep his blood sugar under control and frequently examine his feet. Circulation problems can cause some numbness in toes and feet and people don't realize...for example splinters, or other foreign objects in there toes and that can lead to pretty bad infections. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

That's a common problem with diabetics. The key is to make sure he does a foot check often. To see his true lost of sensation, ask for a microfilament test from your doctor. The doctor will take a filament and press it against his foot. Depending on the amount of pressure, shows his sensation ability.
Make sure he stays on his diabetic drugs and keeps to his diet. That should help to slow the progression.
