Not enough information, but if your steak plate is metal (aluminum) heat the plate in the oven at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or so. When the steak is done place the steak in the metal steak plate and serve immediately. The whole idea behind the steak plate is that the steak should be sizzling on the steak plate when you bring it to the table.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. If this is a plate you are going to serve a steak on you could heat the plate with a very low oven setting. Serving food on a heated plate keeps the food hot longer.

buy SIZZLING PLATE,HEAT IN ON LOW FLAME & PUT SMALL amount of margarine so the food you cook won't stick on it.
