They don't get sick as in having the flu or a cold, but they can have certain symptoms of the STD, like burning or discharge from the penis.

Yes, In men, the infection is often without symptoms (asymptomatic), and clears spontaneously in a few weeks by signs of:
burning after urination or ejaculation
itching of urethra
slight discharge from urethra

This disease cannot survive in the mouth or rectum, and therefore must be transmitted through penis-to-vagina intercourse or vulva-to-vulva contact with an infected partner.

Only antibiotics can cure this infection, so see a doctor.

Trichomoniasis infection DOES affect men causing urethral discharge, pain with urination and pain/swelling in the scrotum. It is sexually transmitted and must be treated with antibiotics in the infected person and any person with whom he has had sexual contact.
