My mother is going grocery shopping, but I am a virgin vegan and I do not know what to tell her to buy! can you help me? Also, try mentioning some things that I can use for lunch! I am going to start to bring my own vegan lunch to school... but like I have already said... I do not know where to start!

Here is a great list of foods your mom can buy, that are divided up in categories. You can also order a free vegan starter kit at the top of the page.

shop at a international foodstuff or asian food market. purchase pre-made vegan thai curry (examine the label to determine it quite is vegan-they might have it yet you would be careful as maximum have shrimp in them). a competent curry at those markets costs approximately $3 and makes a number of weeks nicely worth of foodstuff. you in basic terms want 2 tsp. in keeping with a million can coconut milk. mixture w/ coconut milk ($a million.50 in keeping with can) and vegetables and tofu. Tofu is lots extra value-effective at Asian industry (i purchase 4 foodstuff nicely worth for $2--pressed tofu is much extra suitable). Bulghar wheat (bulk @ $2/lb) + water + vegetable inventory ($a million/can or $2/for cube--use in basic terms a million) + toasted angel hair pasta ($a million) +frozen peas ($a million) = very much less costly vegan meal which you will shop for many leftovers Dried beans ($a million.29/bag) +vege. inventory + 2 diced plum tomatoes ($2) + onion ($a million) + brown rice from Asian industry ($5.00 for a brilliant bag) = lunch for a million week those are my well-liked, much less costly, $ stretching and wholesome thoughts.

I suggest to do your research first before jumping in. In the mean time, ask her to buy brown rice in the bag, whole wheat pasta, all sorts of fruits and veggies, dried or canned beans.
