fried rice is really easy and awsome, I usually buy one of those fried rice packets at the store (maybe a dollar)
then add peas or green onions or carrots or jalepenos
you must have sesame oil that is the flavor
then fry up some mean or shrimp
put the rice in a frying pan (it works better if it is cold)
add a couple of eggs and stir them up in the rice
add some vegetebles (I like to fry them separate first)
and the meat and presto you are done
sriracha is also the best sauce to put on friend rice
it is the red sauce at a lot of chinese restuarants

cook rice separatley and set aside (i always cook it in a bag - a lot easier). then cook whatever you want: vegetables, beans, mushrooms, sweetcorn etc in a little oil and water and when it's done mix it with cooked rice, passata and herbs & spices. sometimes i do it without passata but then mix it with lots of spinach. you can have it different evey time (depends on what you mix with rice) plus it freezes very well.

I like to take either Mexican or spanish style rice and combine a small container of sour cream, a bag of shredded cheese and some cubed chicken to it. It tastes awesome! Plus, you can add stuff like bell peppers and tomatoes to it if you want:)

begin with water flavored anyway you like; with herbs, hot and spicy. Like a thin soup stock. Cook rice in spiced water, then, when almost fully cooked, add anything you like to eat; vegies, meat, whatever. Season to taste. continue heating to warm ingredients.
