me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex about a week ago...then he tells me that since then his penis has been itiching him and i went to the doctor friday and they told me that i had trichomoniasis and i took some flagyl...but he is going to the hospital today and do you think he is itching from the trichomoniasis, but i also always get a lot of yeast infections because of my birth controll pills, so do you think he has a rash from trichomoniasis or from a yeast infection???

Could be either one but most likely he has triconimis also. He will just have to take flagyl also. Flagyl is the only antibiotic used for tric. Also just because you have tric doesnt meen it is from a disease it could be caused by numerous things one is wearing a wet swimsuit for too long. It is a bacteria just like a cold. Next time be more careful just think you could have gotten pregant!

Well you know the answer now as they gave you the pills for Trich, So either you or your boyfriend have infected the other with std. You must feel really proud, because it sounds like it was you "I have had yeast problems" I would change the nickname hahaha Poxy has a ring to it

If it is itching that is bothering you, that's most likely the yeast infection. Your boyfriend should be treated for both the trich and the yeast infection. If you get yeast infections a lot it could be due to the fact that you transferred it to your b/f and it keeps going back and forth. The trich, i believe does not cause any itching.

probably from the trich. didn't your doctor give you a prescription for him also? i hope they informed you that this is an std- cant say which of you gave it to who, but it did not just develop in your vagina like yeast does. somebody here has something on the side. dont have sex again until he is fully treated or you will be giving it back and forth and then back to whoever else is involved in this relationship of yours. be sure you notify your other partners if it is you with the side action , same for your guy. the others deserve to get treatment also

Trich is an STD. Your boyfriend needs to be checked out and treated before you guys have sex again. Don't have sex until you both are cured. Use protection when you have sex.

my best guess is yeast infection.....if yeast infection- its swelling itchy burns and slightly red
