First of all COPD mean Chronic not cardio, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease!!

What is your mom taking for COPD? I know nothing about COPD, but I looked up the common treatments, and I don't see anything that is a contraindicated when treating hyperthyroidism.

What is the cause of your mom's hyperthyroidism?

look up Homeopathy....they may have some recommendations
also try www.1800homeopathy.com...they give great detailed info on what each remedy does and has very detailed descriptions of symptoms so you can match the best remedy to your illness..
