Wow, the person above me (cvrk3) had some pretty interesting links to look at.

Though I don't have a direct answer to your question, I can tell you that it's probably good to eat a variety of food to get your protein's worth. I have heard something about combining soybeans (edamame) and tofu to make a full protein (like you would have to eat some of each during the day, one type is not enough).

If you haven't tried quinoa yet, try it! It's yummy (if prepared right) and it has the highest amount of protein and amino acids found in any grain. It's what they call a "superfood". Plus it's extremely versatile. Try it, and Good luck!

No, if you are looking at proteins then cereals and pulses are ok. But u can never replace meat for Vitamin D and other nutrients.
Some say that Soya beans are good but they replace only for taste and not in proteins as the oil is exracted from it which leaves only a sponge.
