120 or less is normal and if it is below like I think 70 it could be too low. To be sure go to the doctor and find out. Good Luck

It really depends on when you took your blood sugar. If you ate something then normal is going to be higher than if you didn't. It also depends on how long and what it was you ate as to whether you would consider it elevated. The truth is home glucose monitors are not completely accurate. Go ahead and make the appointment and have some tests run. What I can tell you is here in the US if you have Glucose Tolerance test done, which involves drinking a sugary drink and then having your blood checked over a couple hours time, it should be below 140 at 2 hours and during that 2 hours should not rise over 200. Normal fasting tests, usually done first thing in the morning would be under 100. 100-125 fasting is considered prediabetes, formally known as borderline. 126 or higher fasting is considered diabetes. The diagnosis should be confirmed with another test on another day. Most of the the people who are giving higher "normals" are giving you outdated acceptable normal ranges or ranges given to those who already have diabetes. Good luck, hope you're wrong!

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

If you have not seen the doctor for a while then it's time to go.They will do a full blood screen after you have fasted from the night before. The doctor will tell you your A1C. That's the average your blood glucose level has been over the last 3 months. That kind of tells the best story. Good Luck!

The normal levels for blood glucose is 65-100. Depending on what your sister's machine said you may want to check it again with your own machine if you have one. If you still have questions, call your doctor and let him/her know what the reading said and he/she may require you to come in. When you check your reading make sure you are doing so before you eat .

A fasting blood glucose test. This test is performed after you have fasted (no food or liquids other than water) for eight hours. A normal fasting blood glucose level is less than 110 mg/dl. A diagnosis of diabetes is made if your blood glucose reading is 126 mg/dl or higher. (In 1997, the American Diabetes Association lowered the level at which diabetes is diagnosed to 126 mg/dl from 140 mg/dl.)

A "random" blood glucose test taken at any time. A normal blood glucose range is in the low to mid 100s. A diagnosis of diabetes is made if your blood glucose reading is 200 mg/dl or higher and you have symptoms of disease such as fatigue, excessive urination, excessive thirst or unplanned weight loss.

normal value is anywhere from 80-120, less than 126 fasting, if it says high then it is probably more than 350-400 or the machines has gone bad, have it checked from another place asap and then see a doctor if needed, good luck

I see all different answers. The Diabetes Assoc. is the best place to find the answer to that question. If my memory is right, I believe it has different ranges for men and women. I have been going by 80-120 to be normal.

Normals vary slighty by age and population centers but in general the range is 70-110mg/dl.

Always repeat tests that show questionable results; make sure your lot numbers match with the test unit you are using, and make sure the unit has been calibrated recently.
