at my family gatherings, it doesnt matter what age sits at the kids table, like i have a brother whos 27 and my dad whos 55 sat with us. my cousins are 21, 19, and 16. My sister and i are 15 and 14. big age difference, huh?
really, i think that the GENERATIONS count, and whos closest in age goes to which table.
i was kind of thinking 25-30 maybe. thats a good age... i guess.
*~* the only reason that we have 2 or 3 tables is because we have so many people in our family. we have like 35 people in our little house around Christmas time.

Once they reach the age of 12 or 13 is generally when the children's table is not for them, however we do not believe in a child's table because the children are a part of our families and should not be sheltered away from the adults and parents who should be sitting with them teaching them proper manners, and watching over them, instead of surrounding them with other children who cannot teach them the importance of manners.

It varies. Usually age 10 - 13, depending on their maturity & if they are needed to sit with the younger children at the kiddie table. Which, by the way, you should be paying them for!!!

I'm not sure. I'd say the teens...15? I can tell you that I'm 32 and would rather sit at the kids' table. They are much more entertaining. I hate the ignorant chit-chat that goes on at the adult table.

There's never an exact age requirement, just as long as you feel mature but fun enough to lagh at family jokes, I'd say that's around 14 or 15.

I would say 12, unless there are quite a few young ones. Then of course, the age may be less, depending on how much room there is.

Its a family gathering why separate them to begin with? Everyone should eat together. How else will they learn to act and be more mature?
