Start with salads. Many folks who hate vegetables hate the taste and consistency of cooked veggies. Also, you might try going to a farmer's market and checking out the variety of things being grown in your area. Start with really fresh vegetables and try something you haven't had before. Then, slowly add one or two new things every week or so.

Well many people find that sauces are the ticket. If ranch dressing is your thing then put it on. If ketchup is your thing then try it. Cheese sauce, tabasco, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, barbecue sauce are all options. I find that a lot of people actually object to the texture of vegetables more than the taste. The same with meat. I would recommend adding a few overcooked vegetables to your favorite soup, pasta, or rice dish and then as you learn to tolerate them add more. You might also try to go outside the box a little. There are a lot of vegetables out there that have a lot of different tastes and textures. Go to a Japanese place and try some vegetable tempura. It's deep fried and there are lovely sauces to dip them in. Think about what you do like and then see how vegetables can be incorporated into that!

I have heard many, many stories of grown men who hated one food or another suddenly developing a taste for it when they are served it by a beautiful girlfriend etc. You might try something along the "reward" type of thing. For example . . . I ate a serving of vegetables so I get to sleep in 30 min.'s etc.

I get through massive amounts of cauliflower and broccoli and carrots and red potatoes with just a little condensed canned soup as a sauce. --Potato is good. Mushroom, even better. I think it's the complex seasoning these soups provide that makes the veggies more interesting.

Good luck.

well mix the vegetables in with some italian dressing, because they make the vegetables have some sour sweet taste.

I remember when I was younger, I used to mix my vegetables with something else that I liked . . my mom used to make me eat greens, so I would mix it with a little yams or macaroni and cheese so it wouldn't taste as bad . . .
