After reading your answers, I have decided to tell the vegan who was feeling weak to start including a little red meat in his diet so he will not be weak.

You have real issues pal. Every question you've asked has been an attempted insult to either Vegans or Vegetarians. I'm neither but I really don't understand what your problem is.

Veganism is simply a choice of food, not a satan-worshipping cult. If you can't even get your head around that, how can you possibly survive in this world?

If someone doesn't want to eat meat, they don't have to. Its called choice. Freedom. Its what makes being a human great. We have the ability to choose what we want to do, what we want to eat and what we want to wear. You have no right to tell anybody any different.

Eat more beans. They are a great meat replacer nutrition wise. The flactuence they create will not be a problem after eating them for a few weeks. If you want, take an iron supplement too. That will help and, most important, get a lab work - up done on your blood. Find out what is going on.

No, "feeling weak" has nothing to do with not eating meat.

You can get plenty of energy from a diet that does not include meat.

Not without investigation into what is causing the weakness. If you've got a cancer, virus, or any number of other medical issues, you really need to get professional help. Stuffing a steak down your neck is hardly going to help you if you've got colon cancer, now is it?

You can't just assume feeling weak is caused by dietary dffiency, any more than we can assume your stupidity is caused by your love of meat.

If you are a true vegan/vegetarian eating meat is not an option, despite how weak you are feeling. Meat does not make you feel any stronger.

If you are a vegan and feel weak you should try eating more complex carbohydrates and if that doesn't help keep a food diary and see a nutritionist they should be able to identify any foods that you are lacking in.

no but you should definitely be taking suppliments... one thing you need the most (which would make you feel weak if you have none) is iron. its mainly found in red meat. so take iron suppliments. i have been vegan for a long time and have had no ill effects there are so many options available for you. have you tried tesco? they do a fantastic vegan range. so it is not difficult to get all the nutrients you need and still enjoy your food

You're still at it, aren't you? You're still heckling the Vegans and Vegetarians. You sure have some serious psychological issues you need to work out. Before we get any peace around here.

How can we explain to you? That we're not interested in your Bible-thumping, gay-phobic, vegan-hating, meat-crazy rantings and ravings.

Can't you just follow Jesus' teachings to 'Love one another' and 'Love thy neighbour as thyself'? Why try to be God and persecute others like this? Haven't you got better things to do with your time? How sad!

If your friend is feeling 'weak', then I would go to the Doctors and have a complete phyiscal work up done.

They can draw blood and see what chemicals and vitamins that he/she may be lacking, or protien and suggest some suppliments or vitamins or even shots to help get thier body chemistry up to par.

Often they are lacking in proteins, but they can get that in some fruits and vegetables, (though, most of them dont get 'enough' and suffer because of it).

Take him/her to the Doctors to be sure they get there and be there for them!

I wish you well..

Jesse

I doubt that you would need to eat meat as long as you eat a variety of healthy foods and are getting enough protein and iron. It sounds like the weakness might be due to not enough protein in your system. You can substitute meat with tofu and beans and nuts.
