Emmi, absolutely, yes... you must tell him...
if he change his mind you will have the true in your hands...
but if he wants to marry you despite your problem...believe me...
he is the one.............. God bless you

I am an American. In my culture, there are very few arranged marriages. It is very difficult for me to answer this question in a culturally appropriate way.
I think it's definitely important for you to tell your future husband that you have diabetes. After all, a husband and wife should trust each other and tell each other important information, including health information. If he doesn't want you because of your illness, he's probably not the kind of man you would want to be married to anyway.
It seems to me that if you are 26 years old and pretty, there will probably be other men who are interested in you.

the diabetes is not as impotant as the fact that you are going to be involved in a prearranged marriage. JUST SAY NO. find someone youj love or atleast like.

He has to accept the whole package or not at all. Tell him up front and watch for the response. Your not exactly unique and about a ka-zillion people are right there with you. You are not your disease and there is a great guy out there who doesn't give a crap if your sticking youself with pitch forks. He's the guy who will see only you, "wait for it" there he is, alright!!!!!!!!!!

Follow your heart. The man that you WANT in your life won't care if you are insulin dependant/diabetic.
Arranged marriage???? You're 26. Do what YOU want and what makes YOU happy.
Good luck!

Always reveal the truth before marriage, especially when it will be revealed anyway. The consequence of hiding could be worse post marriage.

There is nothing wrong with being a diabetic. You are making it sound as if you have an infectious disease such as HIV. Tell him. If he really likes you, he will stick around regardless.

If I was your man, and I found out you were diabetic, I would feel sad, I would end up loving you more

So why are you telling us that you are 26 years old and very pretty? Does that REALLY mean you are 62 and butt ugly?
Your avatar isn't half as good looking as mine, Miss Grey Squareface.

GO FOR HIM, DIABETES IS JUST A CONDITION THAT YOU HAVE, IT SHOULD NOT TAKE ALL OF THE FUN OUT OF LIFE. IF YOU ARE HONEST, IT WILL NOT HURT YOU OR YOUR CHANCES. HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD IT?
