What kind of shoes do you wear? since you dont use animal products or things tested on animals.

I do not condone the abuse of animals or humans. I am a VEGAN for health reasons. I would not wear a fur coat but leather shoes don't freak me out. Cows are being used for other humans food, the leather is a byproduct of that. I do use non-animal tested health product & beauty products when I have a choice.

There are many different cruelty-free options, from man-made materials to cotton, hemp and other plant-based materials.
One of my favorite sites is mooshoes.com
They have great selection and style. Same thing with belts, hand bags, etc. There are many alternatives that look great and are cruelty-free!
The worst part about buying these items in leather, is that the leather is not even from the same cows people use for food. We just discard the hides from meat cattle.
The leather for shoes, belts, coats and bags comes mainly from India - this sounds strange, considering their religious convictions. However, many families that become too poor sell off their cattle to people who falsely promise to care for the animals and let them live out their natural lives. Instead, these animals are forced on long drives without adequate food or water to areas where it is legal to slaughter them. When the cow is too exhausted to go on, pepper is rubbed into their eyes and their tails are broken to get them moving.
Check the labels of any leather item next time you're in the store...bet it says it's from India!

Vans Rowleys,always synthetic and great for skateboarding.People who aren't even vegan buy because they are cool shoes.Fallen chiefs are also synthetic,there is a variety of skate shoes made of synthetic materials.

I'm not vegan, but some of my friends are. They prefer Cotton sneakers or Hemp sandals.
