Sugar tends to give us energy. It is a substance that is needed by the body so that we can keep are energy going, and ourselves going.
In the event of having diabetes, everything is thrown out of whack, because the individual cannot either keep the normal sugar levels up because of insulin use, or because of being on a medical diet that prevents it. Try speaking with a nutritionist or someone in your doctor's office about keeping your sugar levels up with sugars that are healthier, rather than no sugar at all.
Or in the event that you take insulin: you may need to request a list of harder to break down sugars.
I know it will be a battle. But good luck.

Have you tried vitamin tablets. Or maybe you need a long well earnt rest. Try more vitamin C, this sometimes helps. I know how hard it is having diabetic type 2. I was quite over weight and then lost 25 kg , my diabetes went away, however I have put all the weight back on due to medication. I am also tired due to the weight gain and medications and now diabetes. I cannot win.
I use to walk 5kl a day. Now I am lucky to walk 1. I am only 45.
Good Luck

Is your sugar under good control? Are you getting enough rest? I'm a prediabetic and I know that when my sugar levels are up. I'm more tired than usual. Also, you might want to check out other causes like low thyroid levels, low iron levels, and whenther you might have sleep apnea.

1) Make sure your blood sugars are under control. This should include watching your food intake and getting plenty of exercise.
2) If you're on meds/insulin, make sure you take them regularly.
3) Get a physical. It could be you're anemic, or perhaps there's another medical condition that could be treated.
4) Drink plenty of non-caffienated fluids.
