I doubt I spelled that right. Anyone got a good reciepe for it?

Chicken Tetrazzini

INGREDIENTS:
3 to 4 cups cooked chicken
salt and pepper
8 ounces fine noodles or spaghetti, cooked and drained
6 tablespoons butter
8 ounces sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup light cream or half-and-half
2 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
paprika, optional
PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 425°.
Cook spaghetti or noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, in skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium-low heat; sauté sliced mushrooms until golden. In a saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter; stir in flour, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Stir until smooth; add chicken broth and cream. Cook, stirring, until sauce is thickened. Add chicken, cooked mushrooms, and sherry; heat through. Place noodles or spaghetti in a buttered baking dish; pour on sauce. Top with Parmesan cheese and sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 425° for 15 to 20 minutes, until hot and bubbly.

Ingredients:
1 whole chicken -- cooked and boned
5 tablespoons butter
1 large onion -- chopped
1 pound mushrooms -- sliced
2 tablespoons flour
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup cream
4 tablespoons sherry
8 ounces Parmesan cheese -- grated
1 pound pasta -- cooked
salt and pepper --to taste

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Saute mushrooms and onions, until soft, in 2 tablespoons butter. Set aside. Melt 3 tablespoons butter, and stir in 2 tablespoons flour. Cook over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add chicken broth and cook over low heat for 1 minute. Stir in sherry and 3/4 of the cheese. Add sauteed vegetables, and stir until cheese melts. Stir in cream. Mix half of the sauce with the cooked boned chicken, and the other half with the cooked noodles. Spread the noodle mixture in a large casserole. Make a hole in the center and fill with the chicken mixture. Bake for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese when you remove casserole from the oven

Made-Over Chicken Tetrazini:
1/2 lb (8oz) spaghetti
1 lb boneless, skinless cicken breasts, cubed
1 med red bell pepper, chopped
2 c sliced fresh mushrooms
4 oz cream cheese, cubed
1/4 c flour
1 can(14oz) chicken broth
3 TBS Grated Parmesan, divided
1/2 c mozzarella, grated

Preheat oven to 350. Cook pasta as directed on package. Meanwhile, spray large nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Add chicken, peppers, and mushrooms; cook and stir 5 min or until chicken is no linger pink. Remove from skillet; set aside. Place cream cheee, flour, and broth in skillet. Cook and stir with wire wisk until boiling. Reduce heat to medium low; simmer 5 min., stirring frequently. Drain pasta. Return to saucepan. Add cream cheese mixture and 2 TBS of the parmesan; mix well.
Spoon into 2 qt round casserole dish. Cover with foil. Bake 25 min. Top with mozzarella and remaining 1 TBS parmesan. Continue baking, uncovered, 2 min or until cheese is melted.

8 oz spaghetti or linuine
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
or
2 cans sliced muchrooms
1/2 sliced green onions
2 tbl butter
1/4 cup flour
1/8 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup milk
2 cups chopped cooked chicken
2 tbl dry sherry
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 sliced almonds
2 tbl parsley

1) cook pasta according to package
2) in lg. sauce pan cook mushroom and green onion in butter till tender. stir in flour, pepper and nutmeg. add chicken broth and milk all at once. cook and stir til thick and bubbley.put in chicken sherry and half the cheese. then add noddles.
3) place in baking dish and add the last half of cheese and almonds on the top.
4) bake at 350 for 15-20 min and sprinkle with parsley.

I am in the military, and chicken tetrazini is the worst ration (MRE, meal ready to eat) that they feed us. Nasty

chicken i know..but tetrazini ?
tetra mean that packing to keep food fresh away from germs.
zini. means packed (I THINK)
