There are a group of vegans that meet at this house in my neighborhood. I have been writing down their license plate numbers and stuff. One of the vehicles had a bumper sticker that was slandering KFC.

I am concerned because KFC is building a new restaurant in our area (we definitely need one because I get tired of driving 15 minutes to the nearest KFC). Last year some vegans vandalized a construction site where they were building a KFC. I am afraid they might try to vandalize this one also. Should I call the police?

Annie M, I will be including your screen name on the list that I give to the authorities. Making verbal assaults is very serious.

Princess, I just copied your text and pasted it into a file I am building on you. I will be forwarding this to the authorities, so don't be surprised if they contact you. Violence from your kind will not be tolerated.

Its up to you but I dont think the the police can act unless the vegans have actually done something wrong. Just meeting up at a house isnt actually a crime.

It is perfectly legitimate to report someone who you suspect is planning to commit a crime.

It is not, however, legitimate to report someone because of their beliefs differing from yours. You have no evidence that these vegans have anything to do with previous or future attacks on KFC. Having a car sticker which states your beliefs about something does not mean you will act on those beliefs in an active and physical manner.

It is highly unlikely that most vegans will take direct, violent action in this way as it undermines the whole purpose of the vegan style, that is to engender respect for fellow human beings, animals and the planet by trying to live a cruelty free lifestyle.

The assertion made by another user that vegans are "terrorists" is ridiculous. Yes, some very ardent supporters of the animal rights movements have committed crimes in the name of they're cause and I'm the first to condemn this. One cannot prize animal rights over and above human rights. However, the majority of vegans are pacifists and also buy fair trade products to ensure no exploitation of humans or animals is involved in their diet.

I feel that unless you are certain that this group of vegans is responsible for planning or perpetrating an act of vandalism the Police will take no action whatsoever and rightly so.

Non of the vegans that I've come across on this site are trying to convert anyone, they are simply sharing their view of the world and how they live to try to sustain it.

Your choice to eat meat and carry out other acts such as fox hunting as your user name suggests are simply lifestyle choices that some people object to in the same way that you object to the lifestyle choice to become a vegan.

It's not against the law for vegans to meet up or to protest against kfc (unless they vandalise). KFC are extremely cruel to chickens I'm 100% anti-KFC. Only report these vegans to the police if there abusive or vandalise which most aren't.

What's wrong with a bumper sticker? Maybe you should be going to the source and getting the bumper sticker manufacturer inspected or maybe just maybe you could go spend time with your kids before they are old enough and lucky to escape from you. Stop being an idiot and put your time somewhere else.

Did I make your list?!! oooooohhhh scary!

a) It will be FAR comfier than your trailer.
b) You will get a hormone injected bacon sandwich for your breakfast!
c) You won't have internet access and therefore you will not be able to post your inane questions on Y A !!!

Hey foxhunter - I see that not enough people have taken this seriously. Well I heard that they are monitoring you too!! Better get out your " secret agent kit " and go under-cover. Don't forget your " secret decoder ring ", you'll need that when they begin to use their secret codes they learned from the KGB. Omigosh !! KFC...KGB... I think there's a connection !!

EDIT* I am still laughing at Chilixa's response. And many others too. I could hardly type my answer, cause I couldn't hold still long enough to type, I was laughing so much !!

If you dont like driving the 15 minutes to KFC, get on your fuckin bike and fuckin cycle it... it will make eating the meal worth the effort, and you would have burnt some of the calories off before you tuck in to the rat meat and copious amounts of chips and fizzy drinks, which you know aren't doing your body any good!!!! And... dont be so lazy, cook your own chicken.... Poach a nice piece of skinned boned breast in a small amount of water flavoured with herbs and spices for about 30 mins in the oven, whilst that is poaching... you can be preparing your salad, boiled new potatoes and laying the table and having a sit down meal with your wife and family and communicating whilst eating it!!! Happy Vegan Hunting you saddo! Get a life and ignore them.....

I have a bumper sticker that slanders GW Bush. Better call the cops, I might be a terrorist!

Get real, dude. A bumper sticker does not imply intent to commit a crime. Ever heard of the First Amendment?

Whilst technically they are not breaking the law, a quick inform conversation with the police or local athourities would do no harm. If you want to freak them out, why don't you start hanging around the other side of the street and start taking photos of them (best to do this whilst wearing a leather coat and eating a McDonalds)
