The only thing that you would inhale from a match would be a bit of burnt sulfer and carbon. The candle would give you a bit of the wax vapor and carbon.

More or less, go the the greyhound station and you will get worse things into your lungs. Hell, just stand near a intersection with about 3 cars a minute, and you will be getting far worse into your lungs.

Don't worry about it. Don't do it a lot, but don't worry.

Yes, I have heard it is bad. Matches when lit and blown out have traces of sulphur. Not good for going into your lungs.
Candles are even worse unless they are soy candles with cloth wicks. Candles are a petroleum product and when they burn they send petroleum byproducts into the air and you get them into the air in your home. You breathe it into you lungs. Also the metal wickes send bad stuff into the air too.
Buy soy candles with natural wicks only. Lung cancer is on the rise in non-smokers. I wonder why?

Matches are made of sulfer, and any kind of smoke inhaled is not good for you!!! There are hundreds of toxins in any given smoke.

the match contains Sulfur, the candle, stearin or what ever you english ppl call it(not wax, you jack ***!)
that little Sulfur shouldnt be harmful to you unless you like breathe in loads, like you were smokin! if you farted and want the smell to go away, light a match and straigh away put it out by shaking it through the air, that'll release alot of nice smelly Sulfur to hide the smell!

It will kill you eventually. Cancer. Don't go into candle shops either because the second hand match smoke can cause birth defects in your unborn children.

Occasionally, I don't think it would be a problem.

If you do it regularly, well, it is smoke after all.
