I have taken vitamins all my life because I do not believe we get enough of some of the vitamins we need in our food. Vitamins keep me healthy, I am rarely sick and very active for my age.

I used to, everyone I think can benefit. However you should take into consideration the effects of excess amounts of some things (such as iron) in your body before taking vitamins regularly. Also, if you eat a balanced diet, you may not even need them.

i do. i try to eat right too. but i take a multi vitamin, b 12 complex, and calcium. its not gonna hurt you. i don't think you can ever have too many vitamins. my mother takes like 10 different ones daily, plus she eats right.

yes, no diet can be perfectly rounded with all the nutrients you need. so it is necessary to get some extras, especially vitamin C in the flu and cold season.

yes, some vegetarians have to take vitamins in order to make up for foods they don't eat, but thier body needs. ex-iron,calcium,ect.

I take a vegetarian formulated multivitamin/multimineral supplement every day. I eat well, but consider it insurance. I also take extra folic acid since I'm hoping to get pregnant soon.
