Serving is good money no matter where you live. I used to serve third shift at a waffle house in a really small town in Ohio. I'm talking no stop lights and only one stop sign in the whole town. On a Saturday night I would bring home $100. That's good for a little dinner in the middle of nowhere.
A friend of mine used to wait tables at a golf club and would bring home over $200 on a week day.

my dad used to make alot as a banquet waitor. we live in vegas but not much any more. about 12 dollars an hour.
