the following dosage are the normal ones,but u should check with ur GP

1) Patches : once a day
2) Slow release capsules : once a day
3) sublingual tablets : one tablet during atack,while sitting down.take another after 5 minutes if attack continues,maximum 3 tablets..then go to hospital
4) tablets : usually 2 every day

I take isosbide mononitrate(Imdur), a nitrate that dilates the blood vessels. I have not had a bypass surgery but have chronic heart failure and other conditions When blood vessels are dilated means less work for the heart.
