Yes some meat-eaters are rude. I have personally experienced rudeness from meat-eaters. I've had people who I thought were friends snub me over a difference of opinion. That doesn't mean all are. Yes some vegetarians/vegans are rude. They make mean comments. That does not give you a right to be a jerk back. Saying meat-eaters are murderers or veg*ns are malnurished hippies only points to your own character not others.

That's true. I think too many people out there, whether in a meat eating category, or vegetarian/vegan, just give a group a bad name by ranting and raving about their dietary choices, preaching about them like they're som religion, or just putting down others. Despite the labels, it comes down to what you chose to ingest. We shouldn't hate on each other for that.

I entirely agree with you. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I will say, however, in defense of meat-eaters, that I definitely hear more of the first wrong coming from vegetarians. It seems that they feel the choice they made makes everyone else bad people. It gets a little tiring to have to defend being an omnivore. And where I live, there are a lot of vegetarians, and to most of us meat-eaters, this is simply their choice, which we all work to accommodate. I rarely hear anyone dissing vegetarians.

Miss Manners would take us all to task, for commenting on what another person eats, to be sure!!

K, read your question back to you. Now humans are classified as "meat-eaters"?
My dear, people are rude to you because you insist on posting this junk. We "meaties" don't care what you eat, or why. So why are you "veggie-eaters" bothering to try to convert every NORMAL human omnivore into grass munchers?
Eat your wheat sprouts and your bulgar, and we'll keep chowing down on burgers and fish sticks. Yummy Yummy for all!
To each their own, and don't try to make others feel they are wrong for their personal choices.

Are you asking a question, or just trying to make a point? If a friend snubs you over the fact that you are a vegetarian, then maybe they are not your true friends.

When feelings are hurt then you tend to want revenge which isn't right, But it makes you feel better for the moment. But who really cares what another eats, I'm sure everybody eats something different. If it makes them happy let them enjoy it.

Two wrongs don't make a right. That is the saying. I couldn't care less what you like to eat. The "Jesus Freak" bothers me a bit, though. Here's another saying (paraphrased): You can please all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time.
