At my house it's not a BBQ without all of the above plus coleslaw, beer, pasta salad, beer, baked beans, beer, chips & dip, beer......Don't mayo, mustard, ketchup & the other "fixins" so everyone can create their own taste...Above all else - Don't forget the beer!!

We always have the regular burgers & hot-dogs, and also either steak or lamb chops, and sausages like Italian or toulouse. Veggies & dip and one or 2 kinds of chips before hand, then a green salad, potato salad and if there's really a lot of eople then maybe a broccoli salad, or tabouli, or pasta salad. Grilled corn on the cob will never go to waste either!
Very important: Beer, wine, and soda (not everybody drinks alcohol!)
Then for dessert, brownies & ice cream, or strawberry shortcake, or grilled fruits on ice cream with a cinnamon-spice syrup. (pineapple slices, peach halves, etc)
Mmm, hungry now, and it's getting too cold out for a good BBQ!
Have a great time!

Baked beans, rice salad, or a green leafy salad? Bruschetta? Cheese platters? Shrimp? Grilled fish? Crusty bread? Something with a dip? Like hummus and chips? A pasta-pesto salad?
Shake it up a bit and don't go all traditional!

Ice cold beer like a Coronoa or iced drinks like margaritas.
Another good thing is non-grilled food. Fried fish or chicken are great at a cook out.

No cook-out is complete without fried potatoes and onions off the grill and corn on the cob.

BEER!!! Not a real cookout with it. And try some more grown-up food like steak, chicken, sausages. Chips/salsa are always a quick and cheap appetizer. Oh and roasted corn on the cob...yum.
